SongWriter is an exploration of inspiration, featuring performances by Roxane Gay, David Gilmour of Pink Floyd, Joyce Carol Oates, Amanda Shires, Cheryl Strayed, Mary Gauthier, George Saunders, and Susan Orlean.

Each episode is produced by creator and host Ben Arthur, and edited so that the artists and their work are the central focus.

SongWriter is available as a podcast and as a live performance series, and in segments on the syndicated radio program Acoustic Cafe and previews in Paste Magazine.
